Turnout in elections is lower than ever and over 1 million Scots don't vote in elections. Who are they and why don’t they vote?
In ‘Missing Scotland’ ERS Scotland Director Willie Sullivan asks non-voters their reasons and questions if they’re right to feel voting doesn’t make a difference.
This book directly gives voice to a range of the missing people of Scotland, asking them to articulate why they are politically disengaged, what their take of mainstream Scotland is, what they feel is lacking, and what kind of changes do they feel are needed for them to engage.
Missing Scotland is part of the Open Scotland series, edited by Gerry Hassan who will explain the rationale behind the series.
